The origin of Gantung

Major spoiler ahead. This is a prequel to the Gantung duo-logy. It starts off with student registration of SMCGT. We get to learn all of the main character’s family background stories. Everybody has a different background yet they become best friends. Gibran whom his father busy as hell. Couldn’t manage to come while Khairil(KJ), his father cheated on her mom. Jailani(Troll) has a decent family compare to the rest of them. Lastly,  Raymond is adopted. 

The writer also introduces Rahiza's character. From what I remember, she bears Ray’s son because the writer mentions that a particular son looks like Khalil(Ray) in Gantung 2. The origin story of how Ray becomes the president of the drama club in the school. He manages to attract a lot of audiences to come and watch his drama. 

How protective Ray’s friends toward him until Gib willingly to replace him when he supposed to be rumble with their senior. And also how precious their friendship when they voluntarily want to help Troll solving his problem. There is a drug dealer that tries to blackmail him and asking for 2k because he and his friends fly(escape) from the hostel. Being the hero, he didn’t want to let his friends hurt and confront with drug dealer by himself.

A variety show about a singer, Hanbyul from South Korea having his first Ramadan in Malaysia. He is known for winning Big Stage competition in 2019. We can see how good is he in fasting. Throughout the show there will be a guest and Hanbyul will learn about Ramadhan season and what it is really about. During the show also there’s a slot for learning Korean teach by him himself. Anyone who would like to learn Korean also can watch the show.

Although I know the show didn’t shoot during Ramadhan, I want to know is he and his friends really fast during the shooting or it is just an act. So far the show quite funny and light-hearted

Episode 1 & 2

Sherry Alhadad is the first guest celebrity. During this episode, Sherry explained to Hanbyul the basic things about Ramadhan, the wisdom about fasting. She told him about her experience fasting when she was young. Four words in these episodes that we can learn the Korean language.

Cho Gang Hwa and Cha Yoo Ri is a married couple and expected to have their first child. They first met at the university through their friends. From that moment they have been together through thick and thin. Unfortunately, unexpected things happened to Yoo Ri. She got into an accident while pregnant and to make things worst, is having a surgery which he insists to do. By the time he finishes his surgery, Yoo Ri already dead and left his daughter, Seo Woo. He didn’t even near the surgery room ever after that day and blame himself as to what happened to her wife.

Meanwhile, after  Yoo Ri died, she lingers around her daughter all the time until causing Seo Woo able to see the ghost. For whatever reason, she has been able to become human again for 49 days only. However if she is able to take her place again within the time given, she able to live again. But her mission is only to make her daughter unable to see the ghost again.
