Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib telah mengadakan sidang akhbar pada 10.00 malam tadi dan mengesahkan bahawa kapal terbang MH370 terhempas di Lautan Hindi.

I was briefed by representatives from UK's AAIB that INMARSAT the satellite company performed further analysis. INMARSAT and AAIB concluded MH370 last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean west of Perth. A remote location far from any possible landing site. With deep sadness that I must inform you with this new data, MH370 ended in the Southern Indian Ocean. MAS has informed the families. I urged the media to respect the (families') privacy and allow them the space they need at this very difficult time.
Pencarian di Lautan Hindi diteruskan untuk mencari kotak hitam. Takziah diucapkan buat ahli keluarga yang terlibat.
